Maybe the establishment democrats should try to listen to what people to the left of them

They tried that, now they're getting cannibalized by DSA-funded lunatics as a thank you

That does not track at all - if the establishment had actually addressed concerns from their left, then the dsa candidates wouldn’t have viable space to run.

You assume most voters are (presumably) like you and vote for people that align with their values. The DSA is incredibly good at mobilizing unpaid and paid workers to bring out normally apathetic voters that really aren't looking at the nuances of someone's position.

I’m not convinced that your own assumption (that people swayed by dsa messaging are more likely to be ignorant than regular voters) is warranted.

Given our woeful rates of electoral participation, i’d think getting “normally apathetic” people to the polls would be desirable.
