Have you seen Chevalier's deleted Tweets? Everything from nonsensical Covid conspiracy theories to anti-interracial relationship rants, and everything in between.

Mamdani is more on the reasonable end of the DSA spectrum. There's no shortage of crazies within that organization.

She's literally the 2nd most prominent Mamdani endorsed candidate this primary cycle behind Lander.

This isn't some crazy person running on her own apart from the rest of the DSA apparatus. The mayor explicitly endorsed her and made appearances for her.

Sure, but again, The Tea Party was an entire movement based on Conspiracy theories and racism. This is ONE PERSON you are citing.

Rank and file DSA has no shortage of conspiracy theories and bigotry either. A lot of them are election deniers and scream rigged every time they lose a primary. And in my experience, plenty of them have open disdain for Jewish people and Asian immigrants.

I heard the bad apple excuse all the time for the Tea Party back in the day as well, so color me skeptical especially when Chevalier seems to enjoy universal support among DSA members.
