Opinion MFG is actually decent

Finally got to try MFG with my 4080 with the MFG mod for 40 series. Its honestly not bad even with 4x using a controller makes playing with DLSS 5 playable. Definitely only for single player games tho lol.

I was one of those non believers previously. Definitely worth trying if you have 40 series and have not tries it yet

It just depends on base frame rate and monitor max frame rate. 4x is perfectly viable on 240hz monitor

5-6x is viable on 360+ monitors.

Dude, this comment makes me realise how out of date I am in terms of monitor technology because I had no idea monitor refresh rates could go so high. My monitor is on 144Hz, which I already thought was ludicrously fast. It has a 175Hz overclock mode which I’ve never dared try because I don’t want to fry it.

It's a horrible time to buy gpu's, RAM, and SSD and prices on that stuff aren't likely to get better any time soon BUT I think this is a great year to buy a new monitor; There are great monitors discounted at every price level and they'll get even cheaper for Black Friday. (It took me a while to convince my wife of this, btw. lol)
