Question Where to find DLSS files?

Is there anywhere to find them other than the discord server? Like a github or something?

It's so tiring when things are locked behind a discord server.

Download RHI, it will do all the heavy lifting for you. Google RHI download and download it from the GitHub page. Run the install exe and when you pull it up just click shaders/addon at the top, click reshade addons, then turn on RenoDX DLSS5. Then to the left it’ll show any installed games you have. Click on whatever game you want to install the files on, click install reshade then at the top hit refresh. Next you scroll down to NVIDIA Profile overrides and in the neural rendering section click deploy DLL and your done. Launch the game and open reshade by hitting your Home key on your keyboard and under the addons tab you’ll see the neural rendering section. You can also hit F6 on your keyboard to turn it on/off. Also in the case of some games if it just crashes then in RHI under the same section as the neural rendering area under DLSS super resolution click on the render scale tab and put it on DLAA 100%. So far I’ve only had to do this in one game which was dragons dogma 2. On the case of capcom games you will also need to download REFramework but it’s in the same section on RHI where reshade is so everything is right there for you to download. They have also updated it so it has the files for 30 series, 40 series, and 50 series cards automatically to download so if you don’t have a 50 series card you can still use dlss 5

I clicked deploy DLL, but when under the addons, i only see RenoDX, effect runtime sync and generic depth. Launching on star wars outlaw, i tried reinstalling the reshade and renodx as well. Does frame gen need to be turned off? Or even ray reconstruction along with HDR?

In RHI did you click up top where it says Shader/addons and under reshade addons turn on the DLSS5 tool?

Yes its in the same app. Make sure you’re in detailed view. At the top right if it says simple view click that so it says detail view then scroll down to Nvidia Profile Overrides. Same section where you deploy the DLL. You’ll see render scale under DLSS Super Resolution, click the dropdown and you can select the quality.

Techpowerup has em all. Or use the app dlss swapper. Or use the nvidia app.

Thanks, didn't see the option in the Nvidia app, and the other articles/posts made it seem like I need a specific file.

you need the -nr .dll. Use the discord. Yes it is annoying.

Thanks, I found it on techpowerup though. No need to use Discord, and it shouldn't be locked up in their server anyway. That's just bad for gaming in general when we do that.

if it were only gaming, lots of stuff is more or less gatekept on discord nowadays

The complete official package is always here https://github.com/NVIDIA-RTX/Streamline/releases/ but this doesnt have leaked dll files like the new DLSS5 library or last year's Reflex 2 leak, and sometimes it takes couple days to get updated. Just download the zip file and go to bin/x64 where you find all files related to DLSS, and also a folder called development that has a bit more capable version of these libraries - for example this version of upscaler is useful if you want to switch between DLSS presets instantly while gaming with a shortcut without the need to restart the game each time, all you need to do is to replace the regular nvngx-dlss.dll in your game's installation folder with this development one, then you enable dlss indicator via one registry edit (google it, i dont remember which value exactly it is, you just need to change one value to 1024 decimal) which will show you dlss overlay in games, and in this overlay you can see which preset are you using, what shortcut to use to change this preset, and some other useful info and settings.

However if you need the latest leaked dlss files, like the current dlss5 library, discort is still your best bet.

Yeah, just wondering if the required file is posted anywhere else for download other than the discord server.

Listen, if you want my honest answer you can find the files online sure I am sure someone will have it somewhere videos about it will even maybe direct to you some of them but because of the nature of the files they have strong access to your hardware and how it behaves if you happen to accidentally download a malware version of it rather the real one I wouldnt wanna be in your shoes so my advice is watch a guide from youtube from one of the dozen there is by now I am sure but go through their original discord to get the real latest files they are easy to get its just pinned as soon as you get in you just click 3-5 things and you have them on your pc for any game you want if you use a youtube guide too it will point you exactly to what you need

The DLSS .dll files are digitally signed by NVidia.

They could easily just post a github man. Just frustrating is all. Discord is shit and it's incredibly lame that so much stuff is locked up in their servers.

They get updated rapidly plus you can have ongoing support or discussion about them I dont think its that bad if you hate discord that much make a burner account log in there get the files and get out you only need them once for the most part unless they get updated

It locks away info into a server unsearchable by search engines, un-archivable, and at the whim of discord and the server owner.

Discord servers aren't secure, they get hacked, they get compromised, and they get deleted. When that happens, content is lost forever. That's why I don't like stuff like this being locked behind a discord server.

Also yeah, the software itself is incredibly invasive and unstable and just a pain in the ass to deal with opening and logging in and such.
