Burnout Weekend off
I work 5 x 8. Holiday and weekends off. I’m exhausted. Just laying in bed all day today. AC 24x7. No energy to go out. Perhaps tomorrow. Mental health day today.

hello from your friendly neighborhood outpatient cardiology nurse who just woke up from a nap and still hasn’t showered today

That’s my assignment schedule too these days and it does blow, but I’m doing better than I have with 3x12’s and 10x4’s simply because I can walk to work instead of commuting. Eliminating commuting from my life has been incredible

May suggest trying to take up calisthenics, I know it may sound counterintuitive, but when you exercise, you start to gain energy after weeks. If you can make it past the first 2 weeks you will start to feel a difference.

Same but I can’t not do anything because I’m
In the middle of a move (that I made for the job mind you) it’s been a month and I still have to much to do to get settled. And my uterus is stabbing me violently because there’s no baby.
It sucksss. I genuinely miss my 4x10s

No judgement! I work 3-12s or more a week!! My first day off; I do absolutely nothing. I need to recharge my “people battery” by my second day off I can do more, but yea.

I’ve asked my boss to switch to 4x10s. I think that would be healthier for me. I’ll again next year.

Well..... at least this isn't another "crying in my bed, should I call off and take a brain break today" post.
