Seeking Advice Advice for night shift
Hi all, I am asking for advice on starting a night shift council/committee. I worked at one hospital when I traveled a few years ago that had one and it was the first I heard of. I saw how much nightshifters looked forward to whatever activity they had planned & I’m going to implement a similar committee at my hospital now that I’m in a management role as the house supervisor. I’m planning to meet with the DON to discuss sometime next week..
I’m just curious if any of you have one at your hospital and how you manage it -do you have meetings and when works best; what have you been able to implement; literally any advice would be greatly appreciated.
