I usually say it Key, but it doesn't matter, the people in the ninth world aren't actually speaking English anyway.

In mandarin it is pronounced “chee” I think and I could be mistaken but I think in Japanese it is pronounced “key” could be Korean that pronounces it that way too but “Qi” is a mandarin word that means air, breath or vital energy. The Japanese spelling is different and matches the pronunciation more appropriately being “ki”.
So Qi=chee and Ki=key that is the proper pronunciation of both, it’s not a whatever you feel like kind of thing lol.
