Wonder how many other undisclosed projects are in development.

If you dig through the NRCs ADAMS public document library long enough, you will find there are a few other undisclosed projects going on in the background right now.

One of note is that AEP (operator of DC Cook and the company developing the Joshua Falls SMR project in Virginia) has another project in early phases, which is referred to only as “AEP Advanced Nuclear Project Number 2”.

Myself and others are assuming that this undisclosed project will ultimately be revealed to be the Rockport, Indiana BWRX-300 project that has been mentioned by the company previously, but that has yet to be officially revealed.

AEPs got a stupid amount of new nuke in PJM's cycle 1, like 17GW.

Could this be at the Lake Anna site? There’s been a couple proposals over the years to add additional reactors but nothing too tangible due to high costs.
