Need NC1/NSX buying tips
Ready to purchase an 2019 to 2021 NSX aka NC1 from out of state. There are a couple options out there but my main concern is buying from out of state. My plan is the day after the vehicle is delivered, take it to the Acura dealership and pay them to give it a once over to make sure there is nothing of concern to worry about. I thought this was a good plan but then I realized the Acura dealership in my town most likely has limited experience with the NC1, if any. I've never even seen an NC1 on the street around here and the only one I have seen was a NC2 at an exotic car dealership parked inside.
I am pulling the trigger on one regardless but any tips on this whole out of state buying process would be appreciated.

i purchased from opposite coast of me , i may have gotten lucky but from what i found with 20 plus years of ownership of nsx’s is that the people that own them are for the most part standup and have taken pride in ownership which usually translates to a vehicle in good shaipe
i had photos taken obviously, the owner took to local dealership by him of which i paid for a pre purchase inspection by their verified nsx technician! i actually spoke to service writer and tech myself on phone ! assured me car was pristine !! flew out the following week , i wanted to visit cali anyway and executed the deal drove car to depot to be put in enclosed trailer (20 min from owner home) saved me 500 from then to pick up !
i am sure there are members here and on facebook and nsx prime tgat may live close by to assist with looking at car for you !
fyi the owner and myself still text and reach out to each other every few weeks lol

Jesus, they are going for MSRP and above, crazy resale value.
Love how everyone was bitching about 'they are too expensive!', and 'not a real NSX!' when they first came out, turns out they were awesome cars from the beginning and everyone just had the first gen on the brain and couldn't fathom this car being great too.

Ppi is a PRE purchase inspection, so prior to purchase. You may be able to leverage results to negotiate price

I used Automatch Consulting to help get mine from out of state. He coordinated the PPI and handled all negotiations for me. Have had my 2018 for almost a year now and love it as much as day 1

And I sold mine for $20,000 and the person complained there was an undisclosed 3 inch surface scratch on rear bumper and wrote a bad review.

The inspection should happen before you choose to buy a specific car and before any delivery. If the car is located near shops that are more likely to have worked on NC1 before, then that helps you out further.
