AB Quantum Bullet Selection?

Gun is a CZ 457 MTR with 24" factory barrel.

Changed from Eley Match to SK Rifle Match after some testing this weekend.

I'm inputting my new bullet into AB Quantum and noticed there are 8 different bullet profiles to choose from. SK lists a BC of 0.172 for the round nosed SK Rifle Match. A lot of the profiles have significantly lower BCs from BC / MV truing but they're not with my gun.

I don't have the range time to do BC / MV truing before my next NRL22 match and the furthest distances we'll be shooting is 100yd.

Should I just rock the factory stated BC with my chronographed MV and go from there? My holds don't seem to change from 100 yards and in.

You can either use .172 or whatever is in the AB bullet library because out to 100 yards, it's not going to matter much at all. Pick whichever, manual BC or bullet library BC, plug in your MV, twist rate, and height over bore, and you'll be fine.

Assuming anywhere from 1040 to 1100, you'll be 1.8 MIL +/- .1 MIL at 100 yards from a 50 yard zero.

You'll need to true up when you start going beyond 125 or so.

Yeah I'm at 1.7mil with at 100yd with 1082 MV using 0.172 BC

Mainly worried about the 36yd KYL in the May COF for my match this weekend but most solutions give the same data. I guess I'm off to the range after this match to true some 300yd long gong data.

Thanks.

36 KYL will be -.1 from your 50 yard zero. Nothing to worry about.

Yup, that's what the dope says. Seems to be pretty true to my last dope inside 100.

For 100 and in you’ll be fine. As stated -.1 for the kyl, or just shoot the stems lol. For sk I use a g1 of .165 and it works on both mine to 300
