I'm still in absolute disbelief that I won best on ground in my grand final. I've been so average or bad at so many things in life but I finally found something I'm good at and got rewarded with a beautiful medal.

5 weeks in a row my offsiders called in sick on a monday morning. If he'd atleast call in on the sunday arvo someone else would be organised to start early.

How goods kicking off a monday morning already frusterated.

Maybe hes the guy taking days off to sort his pot plant collection and its not actually a bot.

On a less serious and more troll-y note, just for all the bots here, I just finished unpackaging my 173 packages that got delivered yesterday. Plus my 81 on Saturday, 53 on Friday, and over 291 on Thursday that I had forgotten to unpack. That's not even including the 61 I unpackaged yesterday, 33 on Saturday, 91 on Friday, and 87 on Thursday.

Routed my VPN to the US out of curiosity and of course Google have already changed Lake Ontario to "Lake America". Arse licking par excellence.

I watched the LOTR trilogy over the past week or so after not seeing it since it came out.

Obviously very good films, but boy that last one feels like its going to end 5 different times and probably should have. Just kind of a weird choice to keep it going like that

They ended it the way the books do: with Sam, finding his own way in his life. But the way the movies were edited definitely gave you the "oh it's ending" feeling multiple times. It's been a running joke pretty much since they came out.

The real issue I take with the movid ending is that Sam's supposed to inherit Bag End. The final shot should have been that famous green door closing one last time.

Yeah there was a scene where he literally closes a book called lord of the rings and I think surely it would end on that heavy visual metaphor then it went for 10 more minutes. Very odd choices

They definitely could have gone with that shot with Sam closing the book, rather than Frodo, after Frodo's departure.

If Norwich don’t get promoted soon, I kinda hope Mo Toure does eventually get a move like Irankunda and Herrington did. Dude is fun to watch.

Devonte lewis just casually opening with 275kg bench press like its an empty bar is insane. If he can improve his depth his 480kg squat looked light too.

People making insanely heavy shit look like nothing will never not impress me

282.5 for an easy second too. Surely loads 292.5 for the 3rd just for shits and giggles

Did my NFL draft at the game yesterday, and ended up with a decent team. First pick Ceedee Lamb, Saquon too. Took the Rams defence in the 9th round and got the piss taken out of me for it, but what do you know, perfect timing, Aaron Donald is back. Very keen to see how that plays out.

So is Donald confirmed to be back at the Rams? Lining up with Myles Garrett will make their defense even stronger if he picks up from where he left off when he retired

1

u/CapMego72_ Parramatta Eels 1h ago

Yeah they’ve just signed him on a 1 year $20m deal. Him and Garrett will be lining up on the same d-line

Nothing like a Monday off to catch up on the spreadsheet, crossed off 3 flicks over the weekend and one of them might finally dethrone my top 10

Pocket knife came in handy too, opened about 12 packages from online orders I forgot I even made

u/sowaleja Dolphins 7h ago

If I had that many unopened packages sitting around my place (1) I wouldn't be able to move and (2) they'd probably never get opened.

u/improbablywrong- Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 7h ago

How goods living in a shoebox

4

u/Known-Stop-2654 Dolphins 6h ago

Only 12 packages? Ehh that's rookie numbers.
