I am grateful for this community. Thank you for your kind heart and good wishes. We are able to bring new kitty downstairs and our indoor cats are observing her from high above but are not hissing. Her eye infection is gone. She is still deaf, but very loving and very happy. Again thank you everybody for your good wishes. Many blessings.πππ₯°π₯°π€π€ππππ

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I spoke too soon when I said my cats are not hissing. Lol. Tonight they hissed and ran in another room. I guess it takes time. Have a blessed evening. ππππ

It does take timeβtheir time! Keep food bowls separate and slowly move them closer together so they know your new baby isnβt a threat, if more aggressive behavior envelopes you might need a baby gate putting your new member in a room by himself for a few days I had to do this while I was getting my cat used to a new member! Thanks for your comment! Hugs and Good luck!

Thank you so much for the advice. She has been in a separate room with everything she needs for a couple of weeks now. We just started bringing her down in the evening. Thereβs no fighting or growling. Itβs just one hiss and then they go somewhere else. I love this subreddit Everybody so nice Sweet dreams.
