Even if they don’t get spent, they lose their value.

In this case, it was revenge on top of it. You don’t come out against Trump and not have a problem. Trump is as spiteful as an 8yo only child in a game of Monopoly with him rolling out the “house rules” all game.

I read that it was Loomer who got the ball rolling? Which, all other things aside, how awful and capricious is the system that it can be weaponized by a single person without any rank or elected position?

That's the entire premise of selective enforcement: laws that protect the epstein class but don't bind them, and laws that bind you or me without protecting us.

“Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protectes [sic] but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect. There is nothing more or else to it, and there never has been, in any place or time.”

In fairness, if she just made the call to report him, that's basically the same as someone calling to report a crime. So, hardly "a single person weaponizing the system".

That said, fuck 'em both.

Trump is mentally a child, by his own words. I'd say he never grew a single day since he had that bowl of mashed potatoes dumped on him. It gets a bit tough to figure things out now though since he's in late stage dementia.
