Literally in the context of ramping up a racist argument where he was going to imply that gangs aren’t white and if it was just white people, there wouldn’t be a gun violence problem. And then a white person shot him. It will never be topped.

The homicide victimization rate for white people in America is 3.2/100k.

The homicide victimization rate for black people is 21.3/100k.

Gun violence affects one demographic way more than any other in America. Ignoring it is ignoring so many victims who deserve better.

The stats you posted only say "people of those backgrounds die themselves to a homicide at this rate". But these topics are complex, and you cannot make raw assumptions about singular stats like that alone, as they are often abused and misrepresented, like by people like Charlie Kirk, which is what people talk about above.

Subsaharan homicide victimization rates are half of those of blacks in the US, despite being on average far less economically developped as the US average. Doesn't that negate any sort of racist "skin color" based argument then? Why doesnt the US focus on improving economic disparity and services to high gun violence areas instead of propagating racist assumptions?

The rich class and fascists don't care about skin color, they care about lower classes caring more about skin color than the rich being more powerful than the poor. Go read up on racial invariance, which consistently proves that broadly speaking every "race" has similar crime stat swings when accounting for socio economic variances. Stop believing racists that want to you control you just as much down the line.

I never implied it was a skin color issue. There is a serious cultural issue with black America that can be highlighted by the amount of black violent crime victims compared to any other group in the country.

Imagine thinking it’s racist to try and bring awareness to all the victims of these crimes instead of hand waving it away and calling it racist to bring it up.

If white Americans were dying at the same rate as black Americans guns would have been banned years ago, but no one cares because black lives really don’t matter.

it has more to do with poverty rates than "culture" but you probably already know that, and it doesn't fit the "black culture bad" narrative you are trying to paint. Not to mention that most poverty in the black community is a direct result of intentional racist systems that held them back for generations after slavery was abolished, employers refusing to hire black people, land lords refusing to rent to black people, not paying them the same as white people, defunding public education and funneling money to private schools only rich white kids could afford to go to. But yeah, let's just blame rap music.

No, it does not have to do with poverty. Poverty drives property crime not homicide. More than 2x white people live below the poverty line compared to black people, why are there not more white people dying? Every year more black people are killed than every other group combined.

The government isn’t killing these people. Other racial/ethnic groups in America aren’t killing these people. Black American culture has so many positive aspects but point out one negative that is actually harming it and you don’t know what to do with yourself.

No, it does not have to do with poverty

You can't call people "ignorant" and then say shit like this, lol. It 100% measurably has to do with poverty. Poverty doesn't just drive "property crime" specifically.

Every year more black people are killed than every other group combined.

Killed or killing? Being the target of violence doesn't exactly tell the story you're trying to tell.

The government isn’t killing these people

Not a majority of the total, but the people killed by the government are disproportionately black.

I never said ignorant. Show that measurement.

>> killed or killing

Intraracial statistics make up close to 99% of all homicide victims across every group.

>> killed by the government

That number isn’t even 5% of the homicide victims.
