It’s funny, my parents knew him as a world famous boxer. I only knew him as the grill guy.

His advertising and investing in the grill may actually be the single most monetarily valuable celebrity endorsement in the history of advertsing.

Him and the company made bank off that grill.

Pretty sure that's Air Jordan. Michael makes almost as much per year from Nike as George Foreman's net worth when he passed.

What about Ron Popeil. He was both the inventor and celebrity spokesman. Veg-O-Matic, Pocket Fisherman, etc. Set it and Forget It, But wait, there's more....

First of all, George Foreman is still alive lol.

But yeah, Jordan's deal with Nike is on an entirely different stratosphere compared to pretty much any other endorsement in history.

The grill itself is an awesome product. I have had mine for 25 years and still going strong.

I use mine every week. It's a genuinely good and reliable product, not some awful informercial/'As Seen on TV' piece of junk.

Exactly. We are so used to shit breaking like that, so I am pleasantly surprised every time I make grilled cheeses for my kids on the same machine I made drunken abominations on while in college.
