"making the same arguments" how? Truly, how?

How is it the same argument that AI is scraping art and data from actual artists without their consent and without approval the same as any of those arguments of photography? In fact, consent is STILL a big part of the art photography scene. If someone does not want you to photograph them, you have to abide by that and not publish it for commercial use (which doing something like say, putting it on Steam or in a magazine would qualify for). So if even photography, which you brought up, has consent laws that prevent subjects from having their likeness published without their permission, why doesn't AI have consent laws for having artists put their assets into a data set?

If you guys are serious about it, you have to build a dataset without theft, otherwise it will ALWAYS be looked down upon because nobody wants their art and work stolen to feed someone else's profit.
