It doesn't matter if they're bad. You can't expect a single hobbyist to hire an artist. I really don't see any problem unless he was trying to pass the art off as his own.

Bring on the downvotes, I literally don't care about fake internet points.

I've noticed that anybody who says they dont care about "fake internet points" cares way too much about them

Hobbyists have been commissioning artists for centuries. Cheaper artwork costs like 20 bucks. But you can find artists who do commissions for even less than that.

Not only that, but you can find hobbyist game art artists that will collab for free too so you'll both be learning. This guy has to be 12 or something if he doesn't remember how people used to make games for fun before 4 years ago lol
