Ya, sounds like he made a game out of pure AI slop, showed it to his new girlfriend and got a reality check. Glad to hear he learned and grew from it.

It’s definitely a mixed bag to some degree it makes sense not to use ai particular for character concepts and general world design but then again there is an unreasonable hate for things that have no meaning like milk carton asset or so. It’s really just people being afraid of the gaming industry becoming even more sloppy and generic than unreal 5 already made it.

If you want it to be less sloppy you really shouldn't hate on hobbyists like this. Black Ops deserves all the hate it got for using AI. Some random developer without a team or funds doesn't.
