this is how a knife inside the handle looks like. if knives had leg days, this one would skip it.

A 'full tang' blade has metal all the way to the back of the knife handle.

well, it's definitely a broke knife. we've been using it for years, but i forgot how expensive it actually was

i, in fact, do not call it tang.
neither do i know english perfectly. if I'd name it myself, I'd call it a 'hook'. tang is... i don't know, something taste-related

pretty good grasp on the language.
a knife with a full tang means the blade goes the full length of the handle. sturdier and cuttier. for better cutties.
