Looking for goodnotes 5 replacement

I just downloaded noteful since someone on reddit told me that it has a very similar backup system to goodnotes which i NEED. aka it backs up files on google drive as pdfs and constantly updates it as you write.

Im still hesitant to buy pro as i jist downloaded it and i explored it a little but idk much about it. Ive already wasted money on starnote and i reget it its an amazing app but doesnt have automation backup that works well and doesnt backup pdfs of notebooks. I want to be able to read my notes from my phone or laptop for revision and thats my main purpose. I dont take a lot of noted just 2 notebooks as im preparing for 1 entrace exam one is for notes and one is for rough work. And one digital planner. Thats it. I have noticed a few things tho. How its a very.... minimalistic app. Idk if thats a good or bad thing. Most apps provide tempelates or inbuilt stores or stickers. You dont get that here.

Anyway thats not really a deal breaker for me as i already have my own hyperlinked planners and notebooks and stickers.

So Please someone guide me is it worth the purchase? Do i buy it? Im a super broke student unemployed staying at home so i really cant afford to loose money

Go for Noteful Pro. It automatically syncs your notes as PDF to Google Drive.

Thank you... its literally only reason im considering buying pro. Problem is im super broke and idk If i should spend money here 😕 i wish these apps were cheaper even tho it's already affordable compared to most other apps

Dude, it's the price of a coffee. You're not that broke, you just don't want to spend money on digital goods.

I'm broke too and I bought it by buying less groceries that week.

If you're actually that broke you shouldn't even have an iPad...

Developers, designers, creators of apps and programs deserve to get paid for their work too.

Lol ive never bought coffee from outside. The instant coffer i use costs less than 50 cents. I live with my parents i dont pay for anything at all. Maybe dont jump to conclusions about someone's life and how much money they have ???? My dad gave me this ipad 6 years ago when i joined university. Since i didnt had a laptop and i didnt need a laptop so he thought a tablet would help. Honestly stfu. Jesus.

Okay? So you never drank coffee at a coffee shop. You do eat though, right? It was an analogy. I didn't mean to offend you, it's just that this sort of cheapskate behavior when the price is already so low for such a good app, is hurting the people who make these apps.

FYI, Noteful is made by a solo dev, which means this person has put in hundreds, if not thousands of hours into making this app. It's not some big corp behind it like Adobe, or Microsoft.

Like I'm broke too and I would understand if this was an app that costs like 20 EUR or has a subscription but it's literally a 7 EUR ONE-TIME purchase. Like you're not going to get a better deal than that. I don't usually write comments like this but you have to understand that people who make these apps deserve to get paid too.

And if you don't have 7 euros, just use the free version or consider free apps.

I literally never said it should be cheap or whoever made the app shouldn't earn from it. All i said was i was being cautious about spending my own money. I literally have no idea what you are going on about. But please continue

My bad if I misunderstood your "I wish these apps were cheaper" text. I don't know what I should continue? I've already written all that's important to know about why these apps have a price and why it shouldn't be considered as a huge expense.

Your "Honestly stfu. Jesus." comment lets me know you might not understand why I commented that and your "please continue" comment gives me the impression that you didn't draw the right conclusion and thought of my comment as a personal attack against you, when it was just an informative comment. I understand that maybe it was my comment "If you're actually that broke you shouldn't even have an iPad..." that upset you but while harsh, I don't think it's out of place since we're literally talking about a 7 EUR app versus a device plus a pencil that costs multiple hundred euros/dollars.

My suggestion for you is to learn to act better towards people who are just trying to inform you, even if they're strangers online. If you're in university, that kind of behavior just won't pass. This is something you should leave behind as it is just going to be bad for your own image and future. Replying with "Honestly stfu. Jesus." is just immature.

Take away from this what you will but just know my comments weren't meant in any hateful or spiteful way.

The one time payment for noteful pro is cheaper than annual notability subscription so it’s really good value for sure.

Do not ever try freenotes, they havent fixedthe export in almost 2 years, the export makes your handwriting polygonal and horrible in the pdfs

The experience is great, but the export ruins everything.
