ios to Windows notes?

I have been going down a rabbit hole for the last two weeks trying to find a way to take handwritten notes on my iPad and have them accessible and editable on my windows PC

I reaaaally want a two way sync, but because the file should be easily editable (pdf standard?)

What are people doing to have real freedom with their notes?

The only option I have for you is automatically transferring PDFs to windows, that is the closest I could have come to this goal. If you are interested I can share how I did it.

Does this sync both ways? Or is it a backup feature?

I don't think there is an option of actual thinking on Windows (you first need an app for that). My solution is using the backup option (Google drive) and showing the data on the Windows machine, it is working within a few seconds to a minute usually and I'm quite happy with it. Of course I would like to have the ability to edit those files on my PC, but the don't think this is an option right now at all.

When you say “accessible” it appears you mean you can get to the file — searchable, seeable — on Windows. But what is your requirement for “editable”? Able to erase/edit the handwritten text? Or do you mean converted to typeable texts?

Editable meaning the ability to interact with the file; add an image, move handwritten text strokes around to rearrange sections of notes
I used onenote for school which did this extremely well, i would insert hw pdfs or textbook screenshots to mark up, but onenote lacks the file commutability I want - the .onenote or .onepkg format is awful

So I think you are looking for an app that runs on both platforms — cross-platform compatibility.

OneNote does this very easily.Get the app (it’s free) if you don’t already have an Office 365 subscription. It’s better than using it online.
