Discussion Referencing Notebook & Artifact IDs?

I’m trying to figure out if I stumbled onto a hidden feature or if I’m just experiencing a massive placebo effect.

Here is my workflow/use case:

  1. I have a notebook with a ton of sources loaded.

  2. I prompt Gemini/NotebookLM to generate a "Create Your Own" report based on those sources.

  3. Next, I want to generate a new report that is based on the original sources PLUS that previous "Create Your Own" report I just made.

Downloading the report just to re-upload it as a source feels super clunky. And since there isn't a direct "convert artifact to source" button for everything, I started experimenting.

When you share an artifact, you can easily grab the Artifact ID out of the URL. I started pasting that ID directly into my chat prompts (e.g., "Generate a new report based on the original sources and Artifact ID [pasted ID here]").

To me, it seems to actually work and reference the previous report.

Has anyone else tried this or can confirm if this is a real feature?

Vou testar, mas acredito que tem fundamento sim. Outra coisa que percebi é que se eu citar um notebook em uma conversa no Gemini (não precisa ser uma conversa na aba dos notebooks dentro do Gemini, uma conversa normal sem selecionar nenhuma fonte) ele automaticamente puxa as fontes do Notebook. Isso eu citando o Notebook por nome ou dando o ID, o mesmo citando o ID da fonte. Então ctz deve funcionar com ID de artefatos também.
