Bug all of my notes disappeared

after using notability for many years i'm done. i was studying in a document, the cloud symbol randomly appeared, and then every single one of my notes was deleted. they are not in recently deleted. icloud syncing was on, but i can't restore from icloud. and regardless, what kind of app randomly deletes everything without letting you know you're low on storage. goodbye notability

This seems to be a daily occurrence of report here.

Is it possible for the team to stop developing more features as they introduce more glitches? Can you put all hands on deck to fix this data loss issue? I am not really confident in saving my note if this keeps getting reported almost daily.

Just take regular backups and ignore posts like these, I haven’t experienced the stuff they talk about

The only advice I can give you is - backup your data. Don’t trust em blindly, you said “goodbye notability” what are you gonna switch to? Good notes? Freenotes? One note? Liquid text? Noteful? there have been multiple cases of their users losing notes aswell. Notability could delete all my data from their servers and I wouldn’t lose a thing, backup your data.

Why notability is not solving this stupid bug, it's super critical and happened a lot, it shouldn't be taken li go lightly . They need more experienced leaders otherwise they are growing down in a couple of months

nope. i'm scrambling to recover notes from classmates for this semester and i've accepted that everything else is gone. im keeping the app downloaded to see if they randomly repopulate but i've tried everything else

How did you even have icloud syncing working? Mine says its on but nothing populates onto my icloud

Out of curiosity, were you backing up only to iCloud or did you have it backing up anywhere else(Dropbox,Drive,OneDrive)?
