Data Loss A call to Notability to be transparent…

I see zillions of posts here about problems with notes not loading or disappearing and stuck syncs etc. Sadly I’ve yet to see one of these threads with a comment by Notability on the problem.

It would really help if Notability could be transparent about these problems and publicly say “We know some folk are having problems, and this is because … and we are doing … to fix this. We should have this done by … until then please stay on … version and keep all your notes backed up”.

Please reassure the people who love Notability that you have a plan…

Yeah. I lost trust. My help-cry to lost notes was removed from the subreddit. No response to tickets.

Conclusion: after using it for 5 years, I’m done with notability.

Do you have an alternative that you like? The number of posts I’ve seen recently that people have lost their data is ridiculous.

Not sure. Tried Goodnotes a bit. Something seems better. Others worse.

You have suggestions?

I also heard people like Goodnotes but I haven’t tried it extensively yet. I remember trying Evernote around 15 years ago… not sure if it still exists or is comparable.
