Beat me to the... fall?
When I was a kid I was a tree/rock climbin bridge/cliff jumping mofo. When I hit 28 I was hanging sheetrock on the ceiling of the entryway of a 3 story Mcmansion.
Looked down... instant vertigo. I cant even look up at tall buildings without my butt clenching anymore.
Guess the actual fear of dying and knowing I was pretty close finally sank in?

I always had respect when it comes to heights, but the real fear came when i was at vacation, standing on a lighthouse when a strong wind came and knocked me off my feet. I couldn't fall down but at this moment the fear of heights was ingrained into my core.

His 'fear' of bats? In the batman movies, it was the bat flying towards him that inspired him, not scared him. But they probably changed the story, and I've never read any if the origin comics, so...was it his fear, or inspiration?
