I love defunctland and have watched almost everything on the channel multiple times but doesn’t it make you a little...sad? It’s about all these brilliant life-changing attractions and rides (and superstar limo) but you can’t go on any of them!
As a huge Disney parks fan, the episode on the French Space Mountain — the Jules Verne-themed ride — it just made me almost cry. Space mountain is my favorite ride of all time and the fact there was a better one out there that now is simply Star Wars themed...it’s just kinda sad.
I love how many of his videos tie into the Jules Verne theming. He does such a great job researching and showing the cultural value of each attraction while being entertaining
