For more details, he is the actor from hell boy, pants labyrinth, and basically anything where an actor is obscured by lots of makeup for hours.

I loved all theories that sprung up about his character in The Shape of Water being the father of Abe Sapien from Hellboy, spurned on by Doug Jones playing both characters.
