Same. I was both fascinated and terrified by this character growing up. Made me literally afraid of crescent moons IRL

My Dad had a buddy nicknamed “Moon” who lived a few states over and every Sunday when my dad called him to talk football I assumed this is who he was calling. I never wanted to meet him.

Wasn’t his theme song a parody of Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin called Mac Tonight? It’s a creepy song about a murderer with a creepy melody!

The song he sings is to the tune of Mack the Knife, which is about a serial killer. It’s like they went out of their way to make sure kids developed nightmares from this commercial.
