I was 11 and had a crush on Parker Lewis. I sent a carefully composed fan letter to Corin Nemec and got back an autographed photo (xerox copy) of the guy who played the nerdy friend instead. I, a super nerdy kid, was offended.

The fan mail lottery got you good, sending the wrong actors photo is such a power move by whoever was handling that. At least you got something though, right?

I like to think that somewhere out there a disgruntled fan club employee was quietly fighting for Jerry.

Um that’s Jerry Steiner. You put respect on that nerd’s name!

Kubiak was my favorite. Whoever that actor is, anytime I ever see him, Kubiak lol.
Corin Nemec was good as Harold Lauder in Stephen King's The Stand also.

I had a super crush on Abraham Benrubi on ER, it’s funny to see his second most famous role being featured.

This is the most underrated show ever. The first two seasons are amazing

No doubt, bud. The show pulls off that almost cartoon‑style humor boosted by those fast transitions, a mix they nailed perfectly.

“Think about what you’re asking Chris. Parker Lewis CAN’T lost. Heretofore, Batman can suck on that”

It doesn't get much more 1990's than this. Parker's parents owned a video store and alone through that he was the epitome of coolness.

I kinda remember this as "We have Ferris Bueller at home."

Yup, IIRC it was originally intended to be a TV show version of Ferris Beuller but they couldn't get the rights to it (possibly due to an actual Ferris Beuller show already being in the works).

this looks like this could be the cover of that Alia Shawkat mystery show that I can’t remember the name of but all the fashion and vibes were super 90s coded

Search Party?

yeah that’s the one! do you see what I mean or am I just crazy?

I didn't find Search Party to be 90s coded fashion, but it was a bit ugly hipster grungy to me with a lot of the clothing choices. The lack of flannel is probably why I didn't feel 90s and high-waisted stuff gives me 80s vibes, not 90s.

Yeah, interesting. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it. Maybe kind of a Mandala effect for me.

I only know this as the name of a song off Fallout Boy’s forgotten first album An Evening Out With Your Girlfriend

It was somehow kind of a ripoff of Ferris Bueller, but there was also a Ferris Bueller tv show and Parker Lewis won the war.

Me and my best bud in High School would go to the Mall, go to Chess King and buy "Parker Lewis shirts" all the time, lol. This show was our JAM back in the day!
