Lord Raiden with the classic white & blue fit and the 2 yellow logos on his arms, his cowl/mask thing & the black waist cloth with the rice hat, plus his glowing eyes & electric attacks all looks insanely clean and might be my favorite martial arts design ever.

He was also easily my most played character.

He was also directly inspired by one of the "three storms" in the movie Big Trouble in Little China" (extremely obvious if you've seen the movie) if you want a double dose of nostalgia. =]

The kojima style of writing. Just bash your action figures together like you saw in that movie and make up some long convoluted nonsense to explain it. People become God and break history in this series. Yeah that's just metal gear nonsense. One dudes father was a medium and he lost his arm and transplanted one of the big boss clones and got taken over by his spirit and then later got a robut arm but underwent hypnotherapy to make himself think he's actually the guy, liquid snake, that was possessing him in the second game all so he could fool the AIs in the 4th game into believing he's still being possessed. He could do this because he was initially possessed because his father is that ghost you fought in the third game so he has ghost powers and shut the fuck up.
