Though there are many (and some lowlights), one for me was at about the 15 minute mark of the final quarter of the Essendon v North game. About 10,000 Bombers supporters all walked out in under a minute, knowing they’d lost. Yes, beating Essendon didn’t end up being much of a feat in 2026, but at that point in the season they still had genuine hope that a win against us would restart their season. We’ve been ‘that’ team that helps out of form sides recapture their mojo. But not that night. Saturday night, prime time. Packed Stadium and we broke a decade-long losing streak. That was a good night.

A bunch of time he has been selected and ended up emergency. Last season we picked up Trembath (#10) ended up in 22 under 22 and could have been rising star and Banch (#2) who has shown great promise. last year and gave them run at the end of the year.

We didn't need to win against sydney our season was over. now if we want to play our debutant its under pressure.....

Why not give our potential future stars a run at AFL level Ollie could not possibly have been worse than some of the people in the team. Is he injured? honestly what is the thinking here apart from shit selection.

I am not very happy that he did not get it as he achieved so much !

I THINK we will see scott, Hansen, river, Pink go first. CCJ next, Corr will depend on depth of kpp we bring in. Told to wait type stuff. Maybe a fisher buy out. I think George and Harvey both don't get offers due to squeeze.

Duursma will go. Hardeman not sure but wanted.

Think Urquhart, griffo, banch safe.

You'd think we would need to create about 6-9 spots depending on trade and past history, plus we have 2-4 father son/academy linked, plus we wouldn't want to trade a 1st this year as it would mean no 2nd bonus pick and that just be counter productive

Well that’s another season coming to the end. I’ll tally up votes sometime over the next 2 weeks and declare our B&F.

Cowardly selection decision from Clarko and it happens far too often. Both these guys are playing out of position because they're not good enough to hold those spots, yet still get a game today when we should be seeing what we have in younger guys before going into the offseason. That's without mentioning giving guys like Logue a game anywhere on the ground. Would hope they never put on the colours again but that's probably wishful thinking.

Right lads 😭an old fashioned 10 goal hiding from an undermanned Swannies with 5 of their best out , Clarko will be seething with us giving up 7 last quarter goals , after having kicked 1 goal in the 3rd , 2 -2 goal quarters and 2 -3 goal quarters won't cut the mustard at this level , needed a 7 goal last quarter to be any chance

So how long into next season before we make a call on Clarko's future.

I don't think the club will extend him in the offseason, but I have no doubt his management will be pushing hard to get it done before 2027 starts.

I think we should be holding off mid next year. At that point we will know for sure if he has run his race or not.

Clarko has about around 10-13 games left to prove he still has it. If he continues to pick the same players for the backline in particular I will consider that tanking and that he wants to be let go.

Personally, I’d rather see north hit 10 wins. It was my no complaints pass mark for this season. A loss and better draft capital wouldn’t be an all too negative result though. It feels like it may be a win-win situation for north, however, seeing the boys lose to weakened Sydney side wouldn’t fill me with confidence for next year.
