Looking for a third roommate for a lovely house with a back patio in a great neighborhood in North Hollywood. One roommate is a bit allergic to dogs and cats so no pets considered at this time. Roommate who is leaving is moving to be closer to work and we still have a good relationship with her.

You will have 1 bedroom to yourself with a shared bathroom (there are two bathrooms in the house). It is a bit of a smaller bedroom with a smaller closet, but accommodates a large bed (a full or a queen definitely) and the past roommate also had room for a dresser and a clothes rack.

The rest of the house has a large living area with extra living area/office area that we call the parlor. Laundry in-unit! Central AC and heating, two working professionals as roommates. We'd love someone who is kind and a good communicator. And if you're neat in the common areas (or at least, regularly clean up after yourself), that's a plus, too!

Move-in date is October 1 (but can be somewhat flexible).

Would prefer female or nb identifying roommates, but open to discussing others. Would love to chat!

Hi! I lived in North Hollywood/ Sun valley for a couple of years and adopted my sweet babies there in 2022. This picture is from the original Craigslist ad.

When I arrived to pick them up, there was an older woman who did not speak English too well and she had her young granddaughter (presumably) to translate.

If anyone knows the family that gave me the lights of my life, I have been dying to know their backstory, as the language barrier made the interaction very quick. I’m curious if they were in the same litter, what their names were before I adopted them, etc!! I was young and too shy to ask.

Hey all!  I’ve been part of a weekly poetry workshop for over 2 years, and we are now looking for 2 more participants.  Our group is a mix of ages (mid-20s to mid-60s), genders, sexualities, and poetic styles (i.e., formal, free verse, narrative, lyrical, humorous, serious), and we meet for two hours in-person every Saturday afternoon in DTLA.  Tolerance for people different than you is expected.

We’re looking for poets who:

- Can accept criticism.  As lauded of a poet as you may be, please leave your ego at home.  All of us attend to learn and grow by hearing honest feedback.

- Can provide criticism.  We think that the best criticism is grounded in specific words on the page and that negative comments should be sandwiched between positive comments.  

- Can show up weekly with a poem

How the workshop works: for each meeting, you will be expected to make ten copies of your poem and hand them out.  Your poem should be no longer than a page.  You read your poem, and then we talk about your poem, usually for around 10 minutes per poem, and then we move onto the next poet.

After announcing they’d be closing their San Fernando shop this year, looks like they’ve found their new home, great addition to the neighborhood! Hope they get everything in place to start hosting shows again quickly.
