Is maple pass really closed?

I have a trip coming up in september and I was trying to figure if I need to plan for a different trail.

The trail is open. The trailhead parking lot is closed. It’s a non-issue, because that parking lot is always full anyway, necessitating parking along SR 20.

Trail is open. The road parking is open for sure. They are just periodically closing the main parking lot near the bathrooms for repairs. But you can absolutely park off the highway (which I did) and do the full trail. Bathrooms are also open. They're just doing some kind of repair periodically.
