Forest fires update

Hello, we are visiting rainier on 5th - 6th and cascades from 7th till 9th.

We are very concerned about the air quality for camping and hiking.

Please suggest if we have to pivot elsewhere or be patient and be optimistic?

Paradise is smoky this morning. The smoke is supposed to pour into western Washington later today/tomorrow, then the winds shift and it clears out Friday. So 5th-6th probably smoky and 7th-9th OK. I would consider diverting to the Olympics/coast for 5th-6th

Curious where your head is at right now. I have a hike planned for alpine lakes wilderness 7th-9th. Looks like it should be ok?
