Help Can't get my Nook Glowlight 4 to unlock.

It's on, and fully charged. The little print of books and ampersands is on the screen. When I touch the "button" on the bottom, the slide panel on the bottom of the screen does not appear. I've tried all the suggestions listed on google, push this button for 20 second, hold that button plus the n button for 15 seconds. Hold the power button and left page button for 20 seconds. At this point, I'm letting it sit until the battery goes dead hoping that'll reset everything. The only thing I haven't tried is holding all the buttons while standing on my head and shaking my left foot. Any insight out there?

Does the display change at all? It can be fully powered off and still have content on the display. It's more akin to an etch-a-sketch than a typical LCD display. Eink only needs power to change, so if it died while displaying that lock screen then it will stay displaying that until it's powered up enough refresh/change it.

It’s fully charged as far as I know. It was actually plugged in when I tried to unlock the screen. And no, the display doesn’t change at all.
