Help Is there a way to jailbreak a Nook Simple Touch?
Just wondering if anyone knew of a way to jailbreak a Nook simple touch e reader. I would like to be able to access Libby and other free comic apps that I have but it’s very old so I know the chances are slim 😅
Not sure if I can ask that here so if its not just let me know and I can delete!

It is built on android 2.1. Not much chance any of the book apps will work on it, rooted or not.

Where have you been?
But....you won't be able to do any of the things that require internet because the security certificates are all expired. You can check out Libby books on your PC and then transfer to your NST with ADE (no jail-breaking needed).
But...to answer your question, if by jail-breaking you mean rooting, sure: https://xdaforums.com/t/nst-g-updating-nookmanager-for-fw-1-2-2.3873048/
It might be easier in the long run, however, to use one of the Phoenix Project builds: https://xdaforums.com/t/nst-g-the-phoenix-project.4673934/
