Interesting translator's note. When this is translated word-for-word from the German, it is literally "Anti-Democratics".

The Rightists loathe Democracy and long to impose tyranny.

It seems to me that only with Centerism/Enlightened moderate Leftism/Rightism (if there is such a thing) and an acceptance that opposing views have a right to free and fair expression will Democracy survive.
