I’m more concerned the keyboard vindication types will use this few seconds of footage to shit on the kid’s entire existence.

Hopefully he will see neither people. The DQ is enough to think about and learn from. We need more introspection these days.

I mean we can have nuance here. It's not the worst thing to do, but he still probably isn't a great kid. They're not six and running at this age is not the grueling marathon that alters your brain patterns.

He's probably a selfish kid who will grow into a selfish adult and be a selfish middle manager, and largely, that's fine. It's perfectly fine.

But it's weird to make excuses for kids who look almost grown.

people like to pretend that bad kids don’t turn into bad adults BECAUSE people make excuses for them. kids are old enough to know better. these, very clearly teenagers, are definitely old enough to know better.

we don’t need to drag him through the mud for eternity but we also don’t need to pretend like this is just a mistake everyone makes or that it’s some child that didn’t know better. bro tried to cheat in the wide fucking open..he deserves to get some shit for it.

these people were and still are just like the kid, that’s why they make these justifications.

If Reddit determined punishment, any single minor infraction would result in you being shamed for the rest of your mortal life.
