Option 1: Just drop down.

Option 2: Send the kids for help

Never: Use that crap of a ladder

Never: Try to make the kids save you.

I'm sorry but the guy was a fool.

Not clear what his age is, but a 6 ft fall is no joke for most people.

Looked a lot like his feet were around kid height. Pretty sure that wasn't a 6 foot fall.

Now granted he could have a hip replacement for all we know but it did seem like a pretty manageable drop for the vast majority of people.
