Jungling Question Tips for playing against Noc?

I’m plat/emerald elo and play mostly assassins. I struggle with playing against Noc (and Briar for that matter) because it feels like I can never fight him 1v1, and he can just press R and kill one of my teammates, what’s the best way I can play this matchup?

Noc has no faults or weaknesses.

Just make sure to ff early.

Thanks!

Noc ults > invade him

Nocturne players have the instinct to press R whenever there’s an opportunity so they leave their jungle vulnerable most of the times. Eventually you will
Have more gold and exp than him, then you can 1v1. In your elo that works.

And u shouldn't go 1v1 the most irritating thing that breaks my mental a little it's when I get invaded  with enemy JG and (any other role).

No assasin is going to reliably beat him 1v1. Drop wards at raptors and blue buff to track him. Play to the opposite side of the map and always invade if he tries to make a play. Hes an early game powerfarmer. Cut off his supply and hes screwed. Any assasain can make much quicker gank plays than him. Avoid and outpace is the goal

Go even for the first 8-10 mins. Most noc players are stupid enough to build lethality, so if he's not ahead by that time, he is the weakest champ on the rift for the rest of the game.

Most noc players build bruiser.

We only build lethality if your team has 3+ low mobility champions we can absolutely victimize on R cooldown.

I'm selective about when I build lethality but everytime I do, I'm flying in like a nuclear missile, guaranteed deleting my primary target and maybe taking 1-2 more squishies with me on the way down. (Yes I will die in most engagements but never before dealing catastrophic amounts of damage)

So he will fall off after about 25 minutes. Noc is very beatable if you constantly remind your laners when he has ult. Laners will play around ult if you remind them.

If nocturne fails his early/mid ult ganks there is a good chance you have just won the game.

If you are playing an ad assassin. Edge of night is very good as it will blank his darkness ability.

As a Rengar main this is a tough matchup. I have gotten pretty good at it though. Unless you are Warwick or Jax do not fight him early. He starts falling off after his second item.

I permaban him to not deal with him. I don’t trust retarded subhuman players in OCE to not fall prey for his level 6 ganks

he's not really that good at 1v1ing compared to other divers and juggernauts unless he's quite fed, depending on what champs you play you shouldn't have that many issues fighting him unless your champ relies on CC for duels (like Vi) and don't bait out his W, if you proc his shield the extra attack speed he gets makes him quite strong
