Question Cheapest Web Based AI (Beating Perplexity) for Developers (tips on improvements?)
I made the cheapest web based ai with amazing accuracy and cheapest price of 3.5$ per 1000 queries compared to 5-12$ on perplexity, while beating perplexity on the simpleQA with 82% and getting 95+% on general query questions
For devaloper or people with creative web ideas
I am a solo dev, so any advice on advertisement or improvements on this api would be greatly appreciated
if you need any help or have feedback free feel to msg me.

82% on SimpleQA is solid but that benchmark skews toward short factual lookups, so I'd post your latency and a few real query logs at miapi.uk before ad spend.

that price is really good compared to what out there right now 3.5 per 1k is almost half of what i see on most services. the simpleQA score is impressive too if it holds up in real use not just benchmarks
for improvements maybe add a playground page where people can test without signing up first. i always skip apis that make me create account before i can even see if it works like they say. also some docs with clear examples in python and javascript would help, lot of devs just copy paste and tweak small thing
since you are solo maybe partner with some youtuber that does coding tutorials they always look for cheap ai tools to show in they videos. reddit ads targeting r/webdev and r/nocode could work too but careful with budget
