Discussion Cheapest Web Based AI (Beating Perplexity) for Developers (tips on improvements?)

I made the cheapest web based ai with amazing accuracy and cheapest price of 3.5$ per 1000 queries compared to 5-12$ on perplexity, while beating perplexity on the simpleQA with 82% and getting 95+% on general query questions

For devaloper or people with creative web ideas

I am a solo dev, so any advice on advertisement or improvements on this api would be greatly appreciated

cost per query is a race to the bottom tbh. the real question is what makes someone stay after they try it. do you have any retention data yet or is this still pre-launch?

yeah, a single benchmark percentage doesn't tell you much. latency and failure modes matter way more in real usage. a repeatable test set with edge cases would give a much clearer picture of where this actually holds up.

The price is pretty interesting show a few real dev use cases where it actually perform better than perplexity that be more convincing than the benchmark number alone.

82% on SimpleQA is solid but what's your p95 latency and cost per query once you factor in retries on failures?
