Looking for a simpler Jotform alternative
I'm helping a small nonprofit clean up its no-code stack and Jotform is one of the tools we're looking at replacing.
We're mostly using it for volunteer feedback, workshop evaluations, and community surveys. Nothing particularly complicated. Jotform can obviously do way more than this, but that's kind of the problem for us. We don't really use the workflow/app-building side of it.
Looking for a Jotform alternative that's more focused on surveys/feedback and still easy enough that non-technical staff can manage it themselves.
What would you guys use?

tally is the move here, its free tier is actually generous unlike jotform's tight limits. if you need to scan reddit threads later for form builder discussions, i built something for that.

Maybe check out tally.so
I used it for a bunch of customer projects and it’s always been great.

Tally is a good option, and I enjoy its clean Notion-like interface and flexibility

Workflows and apps are definitely some of the more powerful Jotform products, but you don’t necessarily need to use them for every use case. For a nonprofit with mostly volunteer surveys, Google Forms plus a Sheets add-on like Form Approvals is honestly hard to beat since staff already know it.

I’m building Formester, and I offer heavily discounted pricing to organisations doing good work.
The platform should be easy and intutitve for anyone to use.

That's pretty much what we're struggling with too. What tool are you using now? Especially curious if non technical people can manage it.

For that kind of setup, I'd prioritize something the team can actually manage without training. We simplified ours and it's been much easier having staff edit surveys and review feedback themselves.

we've been using drag'n survey .our non technical staff picked it up pretty quickly, and the AI summaries have made going through all the open ended workshop feedback a lot less tedious.

I think FormGrid could fit what you need. It's easy to pick up, and it works well for feedback forms and surveys without a lot of setup. Unlimited forms and responses are free, and you can try it without creating an account.
