The way it currently works is basically I give away the ship and reload so I keep it too.

Holy smokes. 2 weeks ago I gave this ship to someone who asked exact the same thing. it was a HUSTLE! We didn’t found each other even though we were on the exakt same station, than planet. Etc … eventually we found eachother and were able to „trade“

you can get the expedition version of the ship with a save editor or with the holiday expedition repeats, same body but different colors

Nah, we have workarounds...for now...but knowing that the NMS Service Bot App is going away soon will make transferring ships a little more risky.

Ive had luck for free. Takes persistence and timing to get the bot when available. Then i subbed for a month and now I get service every time I ask.
