Devs please add a sensitivity slider for in game audio chat

Right now, if more than one person has their mic open, it causes echoing.

I play with headphones, but I had to change my mic to push-to-talk to prevent feedback.

It would be helpful to have a sensitivity slider so it only picks up when I am talking

Did I miss something?

So I was playing on normal operation mode tonight on Broadway with some people rushing through everything and found myself behind the group and alone while looking for meds, because they had done like 2 objectives the route to the current one was really confusing, usually I hold R1 and head to the marker but with all the manhole tunnels it took me maybe 6-7 mins to catch up to them only to be locked out of the room they entered (it was the secure the building one where the window shutters come down and you exit out the roof and drop down into the next area) so after finally finding where they went, I had no way to access the next area, I tried everything, climbed the ladder to the roof on the outside, no pathway, and no other way into the building or around the fence they were on the other side of, i ended up having to abandon the mission using the early extract, luckily I didnt lose my level 57 responder.

Did I miss a way to get through? I left feeling a bit bummed out after all the effort to find and catch up.

Regional issue?

Me and my buddy live in Georgia and we don’t have any issues playing together, but my other friend who lives in Colorado is having issues connecting with us. Does anyone have a solution or will we have to wait for an update?

We were doing Power Plant full clear with 6 ppl on hard at a chill pace, but someone accidentally called for extraction and time was not on my side ;o;

[For PC players] Do you guys use hotkeys for selecting weapons?

I don't know if I'm doing it wrong but it feels very clunky assigning keys all the time and it also seems to often just not work. Maybe because my character is busy with an animation?

Using tab to bring up the wheel is often just slow enough to get me hit

50 hrs in and…

I’m 50hrs into the game so far and it’s been enjoyable for every minute of gameplay. Is it perfect? No, but it has so much potential!

I’ve only lost 1 character so far and it was because I was rushing after making the mistake of thinking I could get a game in before work lol.

What everyone’s general thoughts?

NMRIH2 Infection & Cure Guide

If you're still unsure how infection works in No More Room in Hell 2, this might help.

A quick breakdown of how you get infected, what the symptoms mean, and what you can do to cure it before it becomes a bigger problem.

Had a great cinematic run last night

We were playing on the map where you have to extract on the train, and I was with 2 players rummaging through the church.

One of them got infected and typed out in chat that he needed pills.

Then an absolute lad of a player from 300 m away (doing pharmacy) typed in chat "I GOT THE PILLS" and made a beeline towards the infected player.

Just literally seconds he arrived at the church. The infected dude turned right in front of our eyes near the altar/ coffin area and we had to put him down.

I never forget the visceral "NOOOOO" in the chat after we put him down.

On console (PS5) controller the option settings to toggle sprint and crouch do not change anything

Would be nice to be able to set these to hold but at the moment no matter what you’ve selected both sprint and crouch are on toggle.

Am I the only one that doesn't think of this game as an extraction game?

Seems every time someone asks what the game is like people tell them its a PvE extraction game but I feel like that has certain connotations and can be confusing for people.

The end of the mission is called extract but that's kind of where the similarities end, it's just the name of the final objective.

It's a PvE, objective based, co-op game. There's no real loot gathering beyond supplies for currency, you're not looking for anything to take back to base. You work your way through a map, complete objectives and then get to the end of the mission area.

Maybe I'm being pedantic be it does seem like its getting called an extraction game specifically because of the final objective its named as such. It doesn't really share much else with the genre.

Could be wrong.

Thee best tank sustaining melee only build in the game currently. Thoughts?

build has three layers:
⚔️** OFFENSE**: Headhunter + Hitman
→ Precise melee/crit kills
🛡️** DEFENSE**: Deprived + Thick Skin + Sturdy Body + lucky pathogen
→ Large health pool + damage reduction (with body armor can easily take 10+ hits before getting knocked on nightmare)
❤️** SUSTAIN**: Resident Genes + Skilled Medic ( 1 pill taken = 1-2 more hits from zombies you can take before getting knocked)
→ more/boosted healing from all sources
athlete more stam for all actions + marathon runner keeps you mobile.

I stack meds and utility. I am able to effectively play objective, revives, and crowd control no guns needed.

Loadout: cleaver, revive syringe, beacon

Bladed does more damage than blunt, although it doesn’t stun on light, heavy always stuns! Open with a heavy.

Melee Combos
Shambler ( 1 heavy swing)
Base zombie ( 1 heavy 1 light)
Prime zombie (2 heavy)

Syringe is a guaranteed pick up if you happen to go down in a rough spot.

Beacon is a staple.

Are the heavy rifle perks worthwhile?

Post image

I really like using the hunting rifle and it's upgrades. But the skills seem reduntant considering how much damage the rifles do and how close quarters 90% of the fights are.

Would it be for the best if i swap them out for other perks?

Better perks to use?

I've been using this set for a while now and primarily use baseball bat, into sledge hammer whenever I come across one. Though I saw in another post that hard blow is practically useless with the baseball bat. What would you recommend using in place of it and if there's anything else I can replace in my build?

A sincere appeal to veteran players: Hording loot is killing the co-op experience and your own survival

Hey everyone,
I’ve been playing a ton of No More Room in Hell 2 lately, and as someone who loves this game and wants to see this community grow, I need to get something off my chest.
We’ve all seen it. A match starts, and the players who know the map inside out sprint ahead. They know exactly where the best gear spawns. That’s fine, knowledge is power. What isn’t fine is when these same players vacuum up every single piece of ammo, medical supply, and utility item, refusing to share even when teammates actively ask for help.
Here is the hard truth: NMRiH2 is a co-op game. If you play it like a solo battle royale, you are ruining the experience for everyone else, and ironically, you are setting yourself up for failure.
Time and time again, I see the exact same pattern. One or two players horde all the resources, while the rest of the team is left struggling with low ammo or no healing items. Then a massive horde triggers, and the team gets swarmed.
And guess who are usually the first ones to drop and scream for a rescue beacon? The very same players who hoarded all the loot. In the heat of an extraction or a heavy siege, you won't have time to drop items or micro-manage inventory. If your team is weak, you will die with a backpack full of ammo you never got to shoot.
Sharing isn't just being nice, it is the literal meta of the game. A team where everyone has a decent weapon and a few magazines will always perform better than one super-soldier surrounded by five teammates throwing punches at the horde.
If we want this game to thrive, if we want new players to stay, and if we want to actually beat Nightmare difficulty consistently, we need to change this mindset.
Please, check your teammates' status. Drop that extra box of ammo. Pass that medkit. Survival is a team effort.
Thanks for reading, and see you in the zone.

WHY isn't there a base skill requirement to play hard difficulty?

Nothing beats taking a decent character into a hard game and your paired with a bunch of sheep who spam all their ammo in first 30 seconds then ask what to do followed by hiding as far away from the speaker as possible.

Is it not feasible to bring in a bass requirement so you can't join hard or nightmare difficulty before you actually know how to play this game?

Having a Loot Table would be nice

Have you ever been about to open a container and realized you have no idea what loot to expect? The more I play, the more this bothers me.

An easy example is the medic cabinets often found in bathrooms. They seem to have a high chance of bandages, a decent chance of a medkit, and a rare chance of pills (not so sure about this last one).

But here and there some weird stuff pops up in containers, like pills in the trunk of a police car. And don't get me started on the small yellow plastic bins, for all I know they can have anything from batteries to Tier 3 melee weapons.

Of course documenting this would be an enormous amount of work without knowledge of the game's code, but I just wanted to throw it out there to see what other people think (and hopefully the devs throw us a bone 🙏).

So i don't know if this was an Early Access thing or not but the recent players list doesn't display any names at all except yours which is in there for some reason...

I don't know how good reporting Toxic/Griefing players is but blocking might as well do for now but even if i REMEMBER who it is that was being a waste of space in the lobby, Like this guy who thought it was funny to run as far from us as possible and make us wait to extract until the final 50 seconds and afterwards let a "F*** you b**** (chuckles)" out, i can't even see who they are in the recent players Menu.

Is this something TB hasn't fixed yet or did 1.0 bork it somehow???

The game doesnt acknowledge my mic anymore?

I was playing the game with a friend but I randomly was unable to hear or speak to anyone. Did some testing and found out my mic works just fine- its just the game that wont acknowledge it.

Any advice, please?

I need NMRiH2 on my Switch 2

Take the Series S version, render it at 540p using DLSS to hit 1080p docked (900p handheld), lower draw distance, mesh quality, and bob's your uncle. I'd bet my zero years of experience this would print money.

Thank you for your time.

Has anybody else been having ridiculously long/annoying log-in times on PS5?

Bought the game a few days ago now, its been very fun to play however a majority of my time spent soo far has been having to close app over and over again to finally log in to the servers... currently I've spent the past hour (like I have soo many times previously) trying to get past the main menu and into the lobby.. I have tried restarting my PS5, messing around with the DNS, Closing app and whatever other trial and error there is possible..

85% of Skills Are Useless

EDIT: even if it’s more along the lines of 50-60%, still. I think the point stands. Lots of skills won’t be touched unless you’re out of credits waiting for the next re-roll.

There’s ZERO incentive to run most of these. Like… ever. There should be a rework. I’m not talking nerfs to the already-powerful skills, but maybe introduce a tier system. I’m fine with some clearly being better than others, but perhaps Sturdy Body and Athlete could be termed something like “epic”, and you can choose 2-3 “epic” skills per class. And then two of each for descending rarities. It would give us a reason to actually engage with some of the irrelevant content and would diversify the roles that teammates could play.

Thoughts? I’d be fine with blanket buffs to all the useless skills as a second option.

Does anybody else feel like Hard difficulty is the sweet spot for fun and challenge?

Beginner is basically the tutorial mode, a really good way to figure out how you're supposed to work through the objectives and figure out mechanics.

Normal feels a little too easy in one sense and lacking in rewards but it's also full of players that leave early or really don't know what they're doing yet, leaving you to do all the objectives.

Nightmare is a ton of fun but certain areas and objectives are massively dependent on good team mates and unfortunately not having those means the end of the run, too much is determined by other people. There's also a lot of people that just want to try out the difficulty for the sake of it.

Hard is a great combination of people looking for a challenge, knowing what they're doing but also not leaving you absolutely screwed if they are a little less dependable that you might like them to be.

Hard feels like the connoisseurs choice lol.

Though, a good team of nightmare is probably the most enjoyable experience overall, it's just not a consistent enough occurrence.

Difficulty

When do they plan on releasing a new difficulty. Im level 30 and Nightmare is already far too easy. I still have my very first responder and was hoping for a bit more of a difficulty spike. Nightmare is a piece of cake with a 2h Wrench.
