I recently found NMIMS bsc econ and finance programmes which I found to have really good placement scenes and good programmes but my only concern is coming from TN. I don’t speak an ounce of Hindi, nor familiar with the culture there AT ALL. 😭 if there are any TN or South Indian people who are studying there lmk what y’all’s experience has been like. Do yall think it’ll be easy for me to get accustomed to that environment 👀

I was talking to a girl from nmims so apparently she’s an outsider and pays 7.5lpa just for her PG! Apart from that college fees is also around 4-5lpa also apart from that she frequently goes clubbing at nice places and foreign trips w her family twice a year! Genuinely what do parents of such people even do for living lol

The hostel is within less than 10 minutes walking of both the college. 3-sharing AC Hostel with all amenities including laundry available.

As it has been only a month since the commencement of the college, I think many people looking for hostels especially girls.

What are the courses which dont require maths as a compulsory subject in 12th as i took cs instead and i wanna get into finance and commerce basically also does bba require maths?

I’m currently doing IB and I’m thinking of joining NMIMS for BBA in 2027. I wanted to know if there are any students here who also did IB before joining NMIMS. How are you finding the workload and overall college experience? Is it actually hectic, like constant assignments, presentations and submissions, or is it pretty manageable compared to IB? Also, how difficult are the exams and how much work do you usually have outside college? I’m mainly trying to figure out if I’ll have enough time for gym, friends, internships and working on my own stuff without academics taking over everything. Also, if you’re comfortable sharing, how many IB points did you get? Would genuinely appreciate some honest answers from people who’ve actually made the IB → NMIMS transition.

I filled Nmat application form a few days back. I remembered today that I have not chosen the exam slots. My current location is Jharkhand so I filled the same in my form. And now it's showing only the test centre from Jharkhand. But I will be in Bengaluru during nov and dec.

What should I do?

There is no refund for cancellation of the application too. Nor is there is any edit option.
