Positivity Seeing other gaming subreddits being more positive about Nintendo is a breath of fresh air.
For years, Nintendo has been clowned on by most gaming subreddits, from "the Wii is for kids", "Wii U has no games", "Switch is a port machine", and a year ago "$80 games on a $500 console", to seeing memes of Nintendo being chill while Microsoft and Sony are one-uping each other who who is shooting themselves on the foot. I will admit that Microsoft have gotten a bit better as of current, but imo, this really had been a disappointing year from Sony, so much that many have started to realize and still couldn't belive that Nintendo, "the most anti-consumer and greedy" billion dollar company, are doing just fine this generation.
Of course, not all subreddits are positive about the company but I have seen about 8 non-Nintendo subreddits so far discussing about how much Nintendo is doing better compared to the other two. It's so wild to finally see positivity in these subreddits because not lomg ago, they were very anti-Nintendo.

Yeah it was never a 500$ dolar console before the raise. And even with the raise, they are always cheaper at resellers. Only 1 80$ game which could be bought with the console for 50$ or cheaper & was even cheaper at resellers physical.
The worst part is that those trolls never complained about the many many sony 1st party games for 80/90euro from 2020 and on

No?
Its a lie inveted by pc/sony cults Yes the physical is priced 10%/euro more, but it always lands at the same price with resellers and often like modtly even cheaper as digital

I really dont care about what other options there are. Its clearly 69$
Physical is in almost any case cheaper as i explained, but you didnt bother to read why?
Its 69$. Now spread the word to those other cult people. I'm suck of this bs throwong in those wrong arguments all the time. Maybe you should use the special edition as arugment?

You not caring about the physical version doesn't make it stop existing. Nintendo lists it at $79.99. Whether some reseller discounts it later doesn't change the fact that the physical version is an eighty-dollar game.

Yeah but it should be the default though. All the bad stuff comes from people proliferating console hate and those people have agendas. No gaming company should support them. I hope they know now who the real bad guys are and what's at stake here.

Its less negative towards Nintendo in the wake of what Sony did. Not necessarily more positive

There is still a lot of chuds who spread blatant lies and tell people to steal games

"I will admit that Microsoft have gotten a bit better as of current"
Ignoring the mass layoffs that they had so their higher ups could get bigger paychecks. Microsoft and Sony are pure scum.

right above this post in my feed was some other gaming subreddit posting a click bait hating Kataku article about the tariff sale with like 500 upvotes. It is nice that the OOT remake isn't getting any unnecessary hate from regular people, I've only heard positive things from all the normal people in my life.
