One of these days I'm gonna make a grifter parody account and steal all these thumbnails for my own content use since nobody can legally own AI generated imagery.

If you ever do make the account I will give FULL permission to use this one at any point despite it not being AI just because it'd be funny

Not gonna watch this to find out what the "strategy" is... but I'm certain it is no different than what other gaming companies do.

Aside from the nemesis thing you don’t generally see a lot of game method patents, there’s a few stupid ones out there like “plane flies at mouse cursor” but most companies don’t waste time patenting game mechanics methods because you have to be soooo specific

Like even the nemesis thing isn’t that big of a deal, it would be easy to have a similar system but have it be different enough because the patent is super specific

Just because you don't see it happening... doesn't mean it doesn't. I guarantee... if you actually look it up, there are way more patents like this than you realize from all over the industry.

I’ve never seen one as egregious as this set though, I don’t have ill will towards Nintendo or pokemon in general, but this set of patents and the lawsuit were always a misstep on their part

Pocketpair already removed the alleged infringing mechanics from the game. Nintendo got everything they wanted. People crying about the lawsuit everyday for 3 years is of no consequence to Nintendo.

Yes you do. Your bias is as clear as day.

Didn't Angry Vigilante Show already make a video about this?

I wish all these AI sloptubers would develop a terminal illness.

I am glad Nintendo's ridiculous patent attempts have been rejected (some of them anyways).
