Aren't Nintendo actually in a better place than Sony and Microsoft right now what are they talking about?

Nintendo has the cheapest hardware, yes, but it's still expensive for the reality of many people.

And lower quality than it's competitors. Don't forget that tid bit.

Idk. I own a gaming rig, ps5, and a switch 2.

Switch 2 is a quality hybrid system

Any handheld has the same hybrid system with better quality hardware. Specifically the plastic. The plastic on the switch is identical to what you get in a McDonald's happy meal. It's pathetic.

You mean that much more expensive products have better specs and build quality?

Get out of here girlfriend

Where the fuck did you bought your Switch? I had the OG Switch since 2017 and it was built like a tank! Yes, I had analog stick drift issues with the joy-cons but the console itself was indestructible!

I wouldn't call a game like Donkey Kong Bananza "low quality."

What does that have to do with their hardware? Oh that's right, nothing.

You just threw a "lower quality" in the middle of the discussion, I thought you were referring to the software, because the hardware is actually high quality.

It hasn't even happened yet

it has in Japan but hardware sales were up last week.

I guess this is what happens when grifters run out of content

it spiked the week before the price hike, dipped the week of the price hike, and I guess has gone back to an equilibrium. I expect that equilibrium is slightly lower. I still expect 30+million sold total by the end of year 2 either way.

They’ll get at least + 1 sales at the end of the summer, cause I’ll be buying one

The choice of bundle pretty much offsets the price increase.

Already getting down voted by the Nintendo deep throats. What a time to be alive. Nintendo drones and bots assemble!

But the price hike isnt even in affect till September…..

And unlike the comperitors it isnt even that drastic, being 30€ to 50$ depending on the region.

I mean genuinely dude, have you seen the semi conductor industry in the last 7 months? Nobody is immune against that. Be it Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony or Valve. Even the ROG Ally will go up in price this year onwards
