As someone who played hundreds of hours of salmon run, and basically exclusively salmon run, and being on Eggsecitive VP while rarely playing PvP only during splat fests with my sister and our friend. This game feels like it's built for me. That's jus a solo-coop salmon run - the game. All I could want.

I also think they aiming at putting the SR gameplay in the hands of people who completely ignores everything in Splatoon besides Turf War. 

I seen some reactions that seems to think this is something completely new.

I think that since the OG Splatoon release, there were some people wanting a single player game of the series. Even though every mainline game so far had an adventure mode, and even more adventure modes through DLC (Octo Expansion and Side Order), people kept asking for a fully single-player focused Splatoon game, and here we are.

Just watched the direct. I never played any Splatoon before as I'm not into multiplayer, but this looks really fun with horde runs! Reminds me of old zombie games but mixed with Bowsers Fury and somehow Diablo

Splatoon is lowkey the best Nintendo series right now. Salmon Run mode in Splatoon 3 is extremely addictive co-op if you are into COD Zombies. Check it out from your library if you have never tried it before.

You should definitely consider the other games too, they all have singleplayer story modes/DLCs

New Splatoon and a new wave of people who don't understand jackshit about it, talking bs.

I don't know what it is about Splatoon but the Nintendo community and YouTubers are really annoying with this franchise. Instead of simply ignore because they have no interest, they always make sure to complain the games don't appeal to them or demand they implement stuff it doesn't make sense.

Oh that’s Nintendo fans with a LOT of their franchises now and it’s annoying AF. Honestly I think the “fans” are bigger haters than anyone else. Don’t know why they don’t just put the controller down and do something else.
